Heather and I got married in 2015 and later that year, we were blessed to find out we were pregnant with our first child, a baby girl we named Lyla Jane. As Heather made it into the third trimester of pregnancy, Lyla Jane was an active little girl. Heather was having a perfect pregnancy, and we were swiftly approaching 40 weeks.

Unfortunately in July of 2016, at 39 weeks, our little girl Lyla Jane made her way to heaven. We were crushed and didn’t know what to do or where to turn. From there, Heather and I were provided a mountain of support. We were showered with love from family and friends, we were given counseling help and guidance, and we were provided a place to go and grieve with each other.

Our vision at Lyla’s Legacy Corp is to support and walk with families as they grieve the loss of a baby. We want to provide the best possible care and support that we are equipped to provide – the same way we were provided such amazing care.
